{"id":10152,"date":"2018-07-06T21:25:47","date_gmt":"2018-07-06T21:25:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/?p=10152"},"modified":"2018-07-06T21:25:47","modified_gmt":"2018-07-06T21:25:47","slug":"podium-with-mosaic-tutorial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/?p=10152","title":{"rendered":"Podium with Mosaic Tutorial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I enjoy building cheese mosaics from time to time, and this is a nifty design I picked up from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/disco86\/27279456263\/in\/dateposted\/\">Paul Trach.<\/a><br \/>\nFor my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/?p=8638\">Treaty with the Lir Teilien Elves<\/a> build, I combined that pattern with a hefty stone podium.<\/p>\n<p>We happened to have inverted tiles and curved slopes which made it very easy to have all sides of the podium be smooth. This is the start of the cavity for the mosaic to be built in. And for this pattern to work properly, you will need to have one of each type shown below.
