It&#8217;s a very compact design, making it extra useful for small interior spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The basic technique uses three long bars between stacks of brick modified with stud. There is one 1&#215;1 plate between each brick with stud to get the spacing right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"485\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then the stairs themselves are made of 1&#215;4 tiles and 1&#215;2 plate with clip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"449\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A droid arm makes it easy to connect the stairs to a wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"448\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, the last step can be built studs up off of the wall and still match the pattern nicely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"449\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"449\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Completed staircase!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"449\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Headlight bricks and 4 long bars also work, though not quite as cleanly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/21.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s how it was setup in my watermill build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/22.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/23.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And there you go!
