Darraor Castle remains one of my biggest builds, and here’s a look at what went into building it.<\/p>\n

The river and cliff were the first things I laid out:<\/p>\n

I also added the bridge early on, as it was important to get it to fit properly right from the get go, and it’s height helped determine the size of the cliff:<\/p>\n

After the cliff was done, I was able to lay out the outer wall, and foundation for the main castle:<\/p>\n

I tried several different wall designs before deciding on which to use:<\/p>\n

Fortress basically done, just need to detail the roofs:<\/p>\n

Then I completed the landscape in the front, adding a few trees:<\/p>\n
