{"id":6459,"date":"2017-04-17T14:49:41","date_gmt":"2017-04-17T14:49:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/?p=6459"},"modified":"2017-04-17T14:49:41","modified_gmt":"2017-04-17T14:49:41","slug":"tt-r4-nightmare-build-log","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/?p=6459","title":{"rendered":"TT R4: Nightmare Build Log"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s a look at the build process of my &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/?p=3628\">Nightmare<\/a>&#8221; creation from the beginning of 2016.<\/p>\n<p>I started off by laying out how much water I would want, and the shaping of the cliffs. To give the best presentation, I decided to step them towards the back, and also thought I would try something I hadn&#8217;t with rockwork before, and angle some of the slopes. Continuing with the nightmarish mood, the grass was dark green and the dirt beneath dark brown.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6438\" src=\"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/o-420x279.jpg\" alt=\"o\" width=\"420\" height=\"279\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/o-420x279.jpg 420w, http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/o-250x166.jpg 250w, http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/o-150x100.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.brickbuilt.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/o.jpg 720w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 420px) 100vw, 420px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The next thing to build were the monsters; my character was being chased by giant spiders towards the edge of the cliff, where there was a kraken waiting for dinner in the water below. Building brick-built creatures was something I hadn&#8217;t really ventured into before, so these were a bit of a challenge.
