Part three of my entry for the From Field to Goblet category of the Colossal Castle Contest XVI. I based the cider press on this image I found online, and John helped me figure out the design. See part 1 and part 2.
After the apples are brought back to the farm, it’s time to press them into apple cider! Even Lord Karsten is on hand for this part of the process, and Elise got to be the first one to sample the year’s apple cider. The waste pomace left after pressing will be fed to the farm’s pigs.
