Furniture Tutorial #21

This guide covers a bed, small cupboard, bookshelf, and throne.

First is the bed design Isaac came up with for use in Noctura’s Keep.
A simple platform of plates is used for the base.

The plate modified with clip will be used to attach a fancy scroll work element.

1×2 tiles and 1×2 cheese make up the bed’s covers and pillow.

Horns are used for the headboard and are held in place by 1×1 plate round with hole.

Finally the scroll work element and a few clips are added.

Giving a dark yet elegant design.

Next is a variation on the small cupboard designs we’ve shown before. This time 1×2 brackets are used to attach the jumper plate drawers.

Giving a different offset than using headlight bricks or brick modified with stud.

Our third design is a fancy bookshelf.
1×2 panels hold each stack of books in place.

While brick modified with stud are used to attach some SNOT elements for additional detailing.

The same design is repeated for the second shelf.

And on top some plate modified with handle and curved slopes provide the finishing touches.

Last is a fancy throne I used in my Royal Dance scene.

The back uses a window lattice held in place by clips.

Headlight bricks and 1×1 round bricks fit nicely as the arms of the throne.

And more 1×1 round parts frame the lattice.

Finally these pieces are used to complete the design.

As always we appreciate your feedback and welcome suggestions for future guides!
