The third installment in my series of prizes for the Exotic Feast category of the Summer Joust. Scenes that have both underwater and above water sections are always a bit tricky. I think John’s suggestion of a tree with roots going below the water line helped greatly in selling the transition. And Nexo Knight shield tiles were a lot of fun to play with to give a unique texture to the rockwork.
Another key ingredient that required a unique skillset to obtain were periwinkle crabs. Unlike many crabs, these crustaceans don’t make it easy to capture them by spending time on shore, instead preferring to dwell on the jagged rocky seabed off of Alnya’s northern coast. Eislunn is gennerally known for his skills as a warrior, but also is a very gifted swimmer. Which was essential for diving after these crabs.
