How to build a curved roof like the one I used here:
It consists of 5 sections hooked together:
The white 1×2 plates, are jumpers, the outer most sections should look like this on the bottom:
You’ll need 2 of those.
Then the ‘middle’ sections, again you’ll need to make 2 of these:
And the top section, the dark tan section is only 2 wide, the jumpers allow for the support structure to be centered:
And here’s how they all connect again:
And that’s how you build a curved thatch roof. By varying the sizes of each section, and the number of sections, you can change what size roof you end up with.
