Footbridge Tutorial #2

I based this bridge design on a technique Legonardo used in Serenity.

The base is made up of plates and inverted 1×2 curved slopes. As with most bridge techniques, you could adjust the width and length of the bridge quite easily.

Some 1×1 half circle tiles in bley mixed in with corner tiles give some texture to the walkway

Next you will add four 1×1 plates.

These go at each corner of the bridge.

And then some 1×1 brick with stud, and standard 1×1 bricks are added to the sides.

Cheese slopes and 1×3 tiles finish off the stone section.

Now for the wood railing!

A dark brown 1×3 tile attaches to the central brick with stud.

The sloped handrails are made up of a 1×4 tile attached to a clip, which is then hooked into a 1×3 tile.

The 1×4 tile ends rest on the middle 1×3 tiles, completing the bridge. Reddish brown would also work well for the railing, and if used you wouldn’t have to have the clips be a different color.

This bridge design is featured in my Tōzoku Hideout.
