Things always heat up as the Summer Joust comes to a close, and that’s certainly the case with this middle eastern entry set in the desert! While the tan and dark tan colorscheme is quite typical, valerius_maximus added white and dark green as accents giving a nice pop of color. The half stud offset windows fit nicely with the styling of the tower, and a small section of landscape uses a great mix of earth tones to convey a desert landscape.
The tower’s design was influenced by the game Age of Empires which is certainly a great source of medieval building inspiration, and a game we’ve based models on before ourselves.
