Daydelon Storehouse

A freebuild for Guilds of Historica. I used the vast majority of our dark brown collection in this build, and really like how it looks with the reddish brown walls. The storehouse features a full interior with plenty of supplies stored for the winter. And the doors work.

Daydelon has several large storehouses to keep tools, food, and other necessities safe from the frigid cold and snows of Mitgardia.

  1. Wow this is so cool! All your guys’ builds just seem to be flawless… I’m very impressed!

Btw, I have a work in progress:
Do you have some advice for this? http://moc-pages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=428971&id=/user_images/109992/1463703048m This is the entrance, behind it will be a big light bluish gray wall then some building with interiors… http://moc-pages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=428971&id=/user_images/109992/1463703042m This is the landscape so far, on the far right I was thinking of making a rock that is in the landscape but also is a bit of a border… Should I have a tree? http://www.moc-pages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=&id=/user_images/109992/1463703053m This is kinda what it’ll look like with the entrance on top… I just made a BL order for the landscape and such but I was thinking of making a dirt patch at the foot of the door… Thoughts?

    • Thanks Hildigrim, we appreciate your comments.
For your WIP, it’s looking quite nice. I’d recommend switching the peak of the roof from sticks to brick rounds, as its alright if the peak is a bit high on roofs, but the sticks don’t fill it in well enough. A small tree off to one side would look good, and some sort of path leading to the entrance would make sense, you could have there be a dirt patch near the door to show that is where its most worn.

      • Great job with your build so far! I agree with Isaac that you should switch the sticks to brick rounds, and a tree would be nice. What is the shape you’re thinking of for the irregular border?

  2. Well… I was thinking of having kind of a sideways backwards L… with the top of the L being the part on the left. make sense? thanks for the advice, I’ve sent these pictures to Halhi 141 and Gilbert Despathens as well, I’ll change the stick to rounds. What kind of tree do you think and what color leaves?

    • Dark green, olive green, dark red, and dark orange would all work pretty well for the tree, I think. Flex tubing trees, SNOT plate trunk, there are plenty of designs that would work nicely.

  3. Okay, I think I’ll go with the dark red/dark orange combo… I just bought a bunch of flex tubes so I’ll see what ends up looking best 🙂
Thanks for the help you guys!
