Isaac and I got a very unique opportunity through InnovaLUG, to build a series of Nutcrackers based off of the promotional Nutcracker set to aid in The LEGO Group’s advertising of the promotion. You can see that video on their Facebook page here. They needed 18 unique outfits for Nutcrackers built within a few weeks, and we jumped at the chance to do some building for the LEGO group.
Creating the facial features for this wild-west sheriff, inspired by the CMF series 13 sheriff, was an incredible amount of fun. I am very proud of how much expression I achieved, especially as I sometimes struggle with giving characters their own personality. The revolver was a little tricky to build, but with a few suggestions from Isaac, I think we were able to come up with a pretty good design.
